Workshops and Training Session

Superior Well-Being Centre offers these evidence-based therapeutic courses to support students’ mental and emotional health. Through structured approaches like:

Conditions treated

Psychological Assessments

Psychological assessments are available through a structured in-clinic referral process to gain deeper insight into emotional, behavioral, academic, and social difficulties affecting daily functioning.

Unemployment

While often triggered by economic factors, prolonged unemployment can become a psychological trap when anxiety or loss of motivation hinder the ongoing job search.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to rebuild self-efficacy and process the grief of job loss, paired with structured career coaching to regain momentum.

Unfocused

A chronic lack of focus stems from cognitive overload, severe stress, sleep deprivation, or neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD that disrupt dopamine pathways.

Modifying the environment to remove high-dopamine distractions, practicing mindfulness, and using behavioral therapy to build strong organizational habits.

Low-energy

Psychological lethargy is usually the result of clinical depression, chronic anxiety, or prolonged burnout that exhausts the nervous system's reserves.

"Behavioral activation" therapy—which involves forcing oneself to engage in small, rewarding activities to jumpstart energy—alongside strict sleep hygiene.

No confidence

Low self-esteem roots itself in internalized negative core beliefs, frequently stemming from early childhood criticism, rejection, or a history of repeated failures.

Therapy focused on cognitive restructuring to actively challenge irrational self-criticism, combined with exposure therapy to build competence through small, achievable wins.

Bullied

Bullying is driven by social power imbalances and the perpetrator's own psychological projections or insecurities, causing an innocent person to be targeted.

Trauma-informed therapy (like EMDR or trauma-focused CBT) to process the painful memories, paired with assertiveness training and building a safe support network.
